When it was hot-I mean really hot-awhile back we escaped to the pool at San Mateo with the Farrell gang. This little girl just warms my heart. Shooting at the height of glaring sun and deep shadows suits her vibrancy! It was a welcome retreat from the heat and a fun change from the beach.

Merrik has a really good friend named Kole. They play amazingly well together-in the pool, at the beach, all through Preschool and even at home. Before we went on our family vacation, Kole and his sister came over to play. This is how cute Merrik and Kole are together.
