We go to the SC Ocean Festival every year to support Jim in his open water swim competitions. I don’t think I would go just to hang out. It’s packed with lots of out-of-towners and the bravest of locals. I am not a big fan of going where the crowds are. That’s just me. It really is a great vibe there with kids’ game booths, food booths that sell hot dogs, ice cream, cotton candy and corn on the cob and lots of hot bods. We had fun checking out the sand sculpture contest, the old surf woodies on the pier and watching dad run to the finish in 3rd place in the Splash and Dash (up from 5th place last year) and of course the Great Rubber Duck Race!!
