[photography] is life \ where have I been?

I have had my head in the sand for quite awhile now. The last few posts were just filler to satisfy a serious addiction to editing and blogging photography. I thought I would share a little of what I have been up to because it’s going to be a long process but it has had a huge impact on the way I see photography.

I have been working on a commercial job for Children’s Hospital of Orange County. It’s my still photography as stop motion where the multiple frames will be used to create a motion commercial. I have been preparing and shooting this in conjunction with planning Merrik’s 5th birthday parties and both kids being sick. It’s been a very bumpy road filled with being sold the wrong camera storage media right before the shoot, seriously disastrous ISO settings, the RAID drive being full, vomiting, pizza throwing, having to dry off with the bath mat from the floor and piles of dinosaur excavation dirt all over the kitchen.

But I do like what is happening so I have to just keep breathing. Here is a short outtake from the 2 day session to show you what the “stop motion” technique I am using looks like. I shot 40 GB of images and it’s for a 30 sec spot.
