A couple of weeks ago we went to Newport El’s stage performance of Schoolhouse Rock. One of Merrik’s favorite people in the whole world, “Macole“(Nicole-who is a cousin of his cousins on the other side of their family so she is not related but we spend a lot of time with her family), had the lead part! About 104 students, a third of the K-6 elementary school, was in the show so there was quite a presence on stage.
Merrik and Maliea loved the live stage performance with music and dancing and Merrik even thought it was more fun than going to the movies. My favorite part was “I’m Just a Bill” that I have always loved since I was a kid. It’s probably one of the only things I really understand in our government.
