[photography] is a new found favorite

I was cleaning up this image today to prep it for my new book. I scanned it awhile back from a 35mm Fuji Velvia chrome and have just now fallen absolutely in love with it. I knew I liked it before when I scanned it but getting in close to an image taken with film on a fabulous 24″ monitor is like falling into a dream. Every tonal change and grain of silver gelatin brought tears to my eyes as I passed my cursor over it. Yah, I love photography THAT much.
