I recently did a fantastic workshop with Scott Montgomery, a photographer friend that I have admired for a long time. It was so good to talk shop with a real pro who is at the level and above where I am technically and professionally. I love to talk about photography but there’s a difference in talking about the same ol’ stuff I’ve talked about for years with everyone and anyone and talking about new advances in the industry with someone who works in it every day.
I used to rep Scott and he is still shooting amazing commercial work. We discussed digital asset management and the process of taking RAW files from camera to eSATA drive to initial processing and then on to final retouching. It is going to really streamline my post production.
