We went to the Ocean Festival on Sunday. Jim was supposed to swim in several of the open water swim competitions but he was sick. It was a bummer to be at the festival without him. Merrik had fun because we ran into Armand-his new beach bud-and Armand’s friend Sophie. The boys are a crack up to watch. They get along great. I saw the sand sculpture contest for the first time and wasn’t very impressed but it drew a huge crowd.
