My dad asked me the other day who came up with the term ‘blog’ and I told him that it was short for web log. Then I started thinking about what a log is and haven’t stopped thinking about the log that I kept on the S/V Pelican when Jim and I sailed to Polynesia. It was a frequent handwritten ‘post’ – at least once a day including our Lat/Long, weather, sail set up etc. so to keep a weblog isn’t so weird to me. I’ll have to put up some of the ‘posts’ from our Ship’s Log here.
